Adam Sandler’s Daughter Had a Very Sweet Bat Mitzvah Party

From Charlie Puth to Jennifer Aniston, stars were out in force for Sunny Sandler.

Do you remember that kid whose bar or bat mitzvah party was the most blowout rager of a party you’ve ever attended?

Well for friends of Sunny Sandler, the 13-year-old daughter of Jewish comedian and fashion king Adam Sandler, it looks like Sunny is that kid.

In an Instagram post from Victor Boyce, father of the late Jewish teen actor Cameron Boyce, Sandler’s recent bat mitzvah party looks like just about any party for a well-to-do young Jewish adult. The ballroom of Los Angeles’s Hillcrest Country Club is colorfully lit, and dressed-up teens and tweens are milling about to different food and activity stations.

A Humble Request:
Hey Alma's content is free because we believe everybody deserves to be a part of our radically inclusive Jewish community. Reader donations help us do that. Will you give what you can to keep Hey Alma open to all? (It's a mitzvah, ya know.)

But, as this TikTok shows, one thing set Sunny’s bat mitzvah apart: star power came out in full force for her party.

In the video, young women at Sandler’s bat mitzvah pose with a small pillow shaped like Smarties, a nod to the apparent candy/sweets theme. However, when the dubstep beat drops, the photos change to celebrities posing with the Smarties: actress Peyton List, Taylor Lautner, Jennifer Aniston, Halsey and, of course, Adam Sandler.

Though the TikTok was not posted by Sunny herself, it appears as though she approved of it, as an account with the username “sunny” replied in the comments:

As if all that weren’t enough, it looks like pop singer Charlie Puth (whose mother is Jewish) performed his song “We Don’t Talk Anymore” for the partygoers.

Unsurprisingly, Adam Sandler is no stranger to holding lavish bat mitzvah parties. Two years ago, he held an equally star-studded bat mitzvah for his eldest daughter Sadie, which included a performance by Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.

Well, mazel tov, Sunny! We hope you had a blast! Adam, we’ll just assume our invite got lost in the mail.
