All I Want for Hanukkah Is Rachel Bloom’s Labia Menorah

Jewish comedian Rachel Bloom just did the most Rachel Bloom thing ever. As we’ve written, Bloom is very Jewish and a staunch advocate of sexual health. So no one should be surprised by the Instagram post she shared on the first night of Hanukkah.

True to form, Bloom rang in the Festival of Lights with a custom made labia menorah, and I nearly plotzed when I saw it.

Happy Chanukah. This is our custom made labia menorah. Yup.

There are a few takeaways from Bloom’s post: the way she spells Hanukkah differs from Alma’s style guide (we’ll forgive her); she uses festive wrapping paper for gifts; and, I suppose it’s needless to say, she’s a total badass feminist.

A Humble Request:
Hey Alma's content is free because we believe everybody deserves to be a part of our radically inclusive Jewish community. Reader donations help us do that. Will you give what you can to keep Hey Alma open to all? (It's a mitzvah, ya know.)

I requested AirPods for Hanukkah (yes, my parents still buy me presents), but now all I want is a labia menorah for my window sill. ‘Cause who says Hanukkah can’t be a feminist holiday?
