Hamsa Jewelry: For When You’re Tired of Jewish Stars

Sometimes you want to show off your badass Jewy self by wearing some jewelry, but you’re tired of those well-worn Jewish stars. Fear not! There’s another Jewish symbol in town (well actually, it’s a symbol in many different religions) that happens to be very beautiful and cool: the hamsa.

A hamsa is the symbol of an eye embedded into a hand, often invoked to counteract the Evil Eye, which is a fancy way of saying it’s supposed to bring you good luck. Hamsas have been *on trend* for a while now (thanks, Madonna!) so it’s no surprise that there are plenty of options when it comes to hamsa-inspired jewelry, from necklaces to bracelets to nose rings, and so forth.

We rounded up some of our favorite finds below. Happy shopping!
