Mark Ronson and Grace Gummer Had a Beautiful Jewish Wedding

The Jewish musician married the actress (slash Meryl Streep's daughter) under the chuppah last month.

On Rosh Hashanah we wish our loved ones and ourselves a sweet new year. Well, this past weekend, 5781 closed out very sweetly when the world got its first look at the wedding of Jewish musician Mark Ronson and actress Grace Gummer, daughter of Meryl Streep!

On September 4, his 46th birthday, Ronson posted a photo on Instagram revealing that last month’s nuptials were just as we hoped: very Jewish.

“To my truest love…out of nowhere, you made 45 hands down the greatest year of my life,” Ronson wrote in an Instagram post to Gummer. “And I’m sure it took me 45 years to become the man worthy of your love. I hope I spend every one of these birthdays by your side til my last day. And beyond. Forever and ever yours ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

Too sweet!!!

A Humble Request:
Hey Alma's content is free because we believe everybody deserves to be a part of our radically inclusive Jewish community. Reader donations help us do that. Will you give what you can to keep Hey Alma open to all? (It's a mitzvah, ya know.)

We mean…the kippah!! The chuppah!! The older Jewish relatives somewhere off-camera probably complaining about why the wedding had to be outdoors!! Dayenu.

A handful of Jewish celebrities sent their well wishes, including our favorite sister band Haim who commented “mazel tov!! ❤️❤️❤️” and King Princess who commented, “Yes daddy! This pic is hot.”

Mazels to the beautiful and happy couple! We can only pray that 5782 brings us much content of Meryl Streep celebrating many Jewish holidays with her new son-in-law.
